Nihongo Renshuu Committee

Nihongo Renshuu, or "Japanese practice", is a casual conversation experience for people wanting to practice and use their Japanese. One of the most difficult things about speaking Japanese is actually keeping up with what you already know. We are hoping Nihongo Renshuu can be a way for participants to practice their Japanese with others who wish to retain their Japanese conversation skills.

Nihongo Renshuu will typically meet once a month, but is subject to change. Aina Kondo, the J-Leap participant for Louisiana, will be leading the meetings. It's new permanent home will be at The Coffeehouse in Arabi. This program is now open to the public!

We hope to work on having another Japanese language program more geared towards teaching Japanese to newcomers or beginners to the Japanese language.

If you are interested in joining this committee, please contact the Committee Chair, Jennifer Torres at jgaudet09@yahoo.com.
