Hello again, ladies and gents! Nick here to announce our next Doki Doki Beats! Due to some medical-type stuff, I'm getting it to y'all a quite late but keep reading cause we got lots of new prizes, music and fun planned for y'all!

In November, we held our first Ever DDB. It was the first event of this type we had ever put on so, as expected, we had a few technical difficulties. BUT, we have taken in all that information and all of your suggestions and began evolving this even into the great and fun time that it will be!

On Saturday, January 11th at 7pm, DDB begins at a brand new location! Rook Cafe at 4516 Freret in NOLA will be hosting the second in our series. Rook Cafe is a wonderful cafe on Freret that will bring tasty teas, coffees and espressos as well as a more relaxed undertone to our event. We willl have lots of great Music, Music videos and other pieces of that J-Pop scene that we all love and enjoy! We're even working on adding some games and, in the future, Karaoke!!

Of course we will still have our raffle going so that we can help raise funds for the Japan Society of New Orleans but now we adding a new feature: Remote Bidding! Remote bidding is simple and allows those who can't make the event but want a chance at the prizes to make their bids online. Remember: Tickets are $2 each, 6 for $10 or 14 for $20 and you can put your tickets specifically towards ANY item that you want, not just the raffle in general! It works like this:

1. go to japansocietyofneworleans.org
2. Click "Donate"
3. Donate the dollar amount for the number of tickets you want
4. be sure to include your name in the donation info!
5. After you have completed that, simply click "Contact us" on that main page, let us know the amount you donated for how many tickets and which items you want the tickets to go towards.
We'll reply back as soon as we can with a confirmation and your ticket numbers. If you win, we'll send you back an email and arrange for either a pickup or a drop off (If you're within the NOLA area). Unfortunately, we can't afford to ship as of now so you have to be local.

Pictures of the items will be listed on our Facebook page and, hopefully, under the DDB Committee group at japansocietyofneworleans.org soon. I hope to see you all out there on the 11th and let's have some fun!
