Journey into a world of stories! Join us for a special children's program that celebrates the life of Lafcadio Hearn, a world traveler who found magic and wonder everywhere he called home, from the streets of New Orleans to the gardens of Japan. Presented by the Japan Society of New Orleans, this program brings traditional Japanese storytelling to young audiences and invites children to explore the fascinating connections between New Orleans and Japan. "Lafcadio Hearn's World Full of Stories" will be held Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Two Fish Books (7265 Saint Claude Ave, Arabi, LA 70032).
