Recent Developments in Compact Housing in Japan: Design, Technology, and Social Change, a lecture by Azby Brown

In collaboration with the Tulane School of Architecture, Japan Society of New Orleans is proud to announce its sponsorship of a talk given by Azby Brown on Recent Developments in Compact Housing in Japan:  Design, Technology & Social Change. 

Mr. Brown offers a unique perspective on architecture as he was raised in New Orleans and has lived and practiced architecture in Japan for the past 30 years.  He is currently the Director of the KIT Future Design Institute in Tokyo, and Associate Professor at the Kanazawa Institute of Technology.

A reception will be held prior to the lecture at the Favrot Lobby of Richardson Memorial Hall on Tulanes Uptown Campus at 5pm, with the lecture starting at 6pm.   

This event is free and open to the public and made possible by a grant from the Japan Foundation, Center for Global Partnership and the William K and Nancy P Turner Fund at the Tulane School of Architecture.
