Come join us for some crafts and fun as we celebrate our annual Children's Day event :-)
Coming up on Saturday, May 9th is our annual Children’s Day event. For those who don’t know, Children’s day is a traditional holiday celebrated in Japan. It is a day that assists in respecting children’s personalities and their happiness.
Japan Society of New Orleans will be honoring Children’s Day by having crafts, book readings, and music. Children ages 4 and up are invited to attend with their parents or guardians. All those interested in Japan, it's culture, its fashion and those who are still children at heart are more than welcome to attend as well. Costumes and fashion highly encouraged :D
