NOLA Aikido provides ongoing classes in a Martial Art of Peace for Every Body.  Our mission is to share the art of Aikido with children and adults in New Orleans and beyond, helping people to experience more peace, fitness, and well-being in their lives, and to do so without discrimination with regards to race, creed, or sexual orientation.

Laura's Candies, established in 1913, is the oldest candy shop in New Orleans. Located at 331 Chartres Street, it is in the heart of the French Quarter. We offer a variety of traditional New Orleans confections, including our Creole Praline, as well as our best-selling item: Mississippi Mud. Our delicious Creole pralines and chocolates are hand-made fresh daily in our French Quarter kitchen with recipes that date back to the 19th century. Tubby & Coo's is the locally-owned and woman-owned nerd mecca of New Orleans! We are a nerdy book and gift shop that offers free WiFi and sells merchandise such as t-shirts, board games, and other fun apparel and toys.

We’re a community center for nerds, geeks, freaks, and the like, and we’re family and kid friendly and family oriented. 
The book shop is named after the owner’s grandparents, Tubby & Coo, who grew up in the same neighborhood where the shop is located. Our motto: "It's all GEEK to me!"
