Across the globe, organizations are learning to incorporate virtual service offerings in light of COVID-19; the Japan Society of New Orleans is no exception.  Here you will find recordings of virtual events and livestreams we put on during the pandemic and beyond!

We hope you find something you enjoy!

Join us online, in partnership with the  Sasakawa Peace Foundation and National Association of Japan-America Societies (NAJAS), via Streamyard to explore GEOSTRATEGIC CHALLENGES FACING THE US & JAPAN IN 2021 +. We were honored to host two experts on the subject who will provide their insights into the impact of recent developments in the Pacific Northeast as well as broader geostrategic issues in Asia:

Dr. Tomohiko Satake, Senior Fellow Defense Policy Division, Policy Studies Department , The National Institute for Defense Studies, Tokyo, Japan

Mr. Richard Fontaine, Chief Executive Officer, Center for a New American Security, Washington DC.

This event is made possible by a grant from the Sasakawa Peace Foundation and the National Association of Japan America Societies

Our format will be remarks by our speakers on the state of the US/Japan Alliance and the geostrategic outlook of the Western Pacific.

We encourage to share this event with anyone interested in the US Japan relationship and we look forward to seeing at this event!
