Hello again, one and all!
It's me again, Nick Brown her to announce the next Nihongo Bin.
On Thursday, 2/13/14, we will be meeting at a new location and on a new day for our next discussion group. This time we'll be meeting in a more permanant location closer to our normal time. The meeting will be at Old Metairie Library at 2350 Metairie Rd Metairie 70001 and will run from 7pm till 8:30pm on Thursday, Feb 13th. Our topic this time will be one of the most famous names of anime in the western world: Hayao Miyazaki!
As many of you know, last month was his birthday and is also known as Miyazaki Month in celebration of his many contributions to the anime industry. On Thursday, I'll be going over many of those contributions and much of his past in a bit of a late Happy Birthday to a man that has become a household name in much of the west as well as Japan.
