Nihongo Bin: Kimono & Kitsuke Workshop

  • Mon, May 22, 2017
  • 18:00 - 20:00
  • Old Metairie Branch Library

Learn how to wear kimono right here in NOLA at our special 2 hour May Nihongo Bin meeting!

The kimono is synonymous with Japan, an art form that has captivated the West since the country opened its borders in the late 19th century and Japanism swept across the world. If you've ever wanted to learn about kimono and kitsuke (the art of wearing kimono), come join us for a Kimono and Kitsuke Workshop and Demonstration at May's Nihongo Bin!

The presentation and kitsuke demonstration will be led by local author and JSNO member, Eva Vanrell.
