Second Annual Sushi Fest

Sushi and Japanese-inspired dishes from some of the area’s top restaurants will be available for sale. Sapporo beer,
Clos du Bois wine, sake and cocktails will also be available to purchase.

VIP Experience: Early entry at 1:00 p.m., A VIP Japanes Garden, created by Mardi Gras Productions, will feature an individual sushi tray per person from Rock-n-Sake and other Japanese dishes, a "sushi" dessert display by The Good Life Bakery, Sapporo Beer, sake and Clos du Bois wine. From 2-5 p.m., VIP attendees can relax in the Japanese Garden and enjoy unlimited signature cocktails. VIPs will also receive a unique piece of wearable "sushi" art designed by Studio Inferno. Cost for the VIP Experience is $75 in advance. Limited VIP tickets available. 

The New Orleans Sushi Fest & Competition will feature sushi creations and Japanese inspired dishes created by individuals and restaurants from around the New Orleans Metro area. Each participating chef will compete in various categories, and one will be crowned the 2015 Grand Champion by a panel of esteemed judges. 

This second annual event, which celebrates Japanese culture and food, anticipates over 2,800 attendees for an afternoon with our area's best sushi, Japanese beer, sake, Japanese crafts and live entertainment by Flow Tribe.

Channel your inner pop-star in the Cat's Meow Karaoke Club or shop the Marketplace – which will feature traditional Japanese crafts, sushi-themed goods, customized T-shirts and more.

During the festival, raffle tickets will be sold to enter to win two airline tickets to Japan.
